(1)Adapt to changes in the business environment to take on challenges in new areas

We will strive to anticipate changes in order to respond flexibly and quickly to change. Moreover, we will identify systems required by society to take on challenges for new “services”.
In the IT industry, business environment is ever-changing, with new technologies and systems appearing at all times. The demand for specialized knowledge is on the rise in recent years along with the demand for digital transformation, cloud services, etc. Furthermore, companies are required to take appropriate measures in accordance with the circumstances as social conditions and economic fluctuations in Japan and overseas have a large impact on business activities.
In the CIJ group, we will promote challenge and deepening in new areas such as DX, AI／IoT, cloud solutions and robotics in addition to strengthening the business foundation the group has built up over the years to enable adaptation to various changes in the business environment. We will actively take on the challenge to identify technologies and systems required by society to make them our core for future growth.

(2) Promote development of specialized SE

We will promote development of experts specialized in IT technologies, management, business knowledge, etc. to enhance our capability to respond to customers’ needs by grouping experts of each specialty.
In the IT industry, developing competent human resources is of utmost importance since the technical capabilities, project management capabilities, and amount of experience in a particular industry of each engineer are important factors that determine the success or failure of projects. In particular, familiarity with customers’ industry is essential to provide better solution or consulting services.
As for our group, we will promote career enhancement of each employee in accordance with his or her capabilities as a way to develop experts with specialized skills. Moreover, we will not only invest in strengthening our education system, but also in developing human resources.

(3)Enhance sustainability activities

We will link our corporate activities to goals set up in the SDGs to work more consciously and actively on sustainability.
Society’s interest on sustainable activities is increasing year by year on a global scale, and society as a whole must work toward achieving a “sustainable and peaceful world” the SDGs aim for.
In the CIJ group, we think that we need all stakeholders, beginning with our employees and customers, for our business activities to be viable. We work on various efforts aimed at sustainability management by taking into consideration the sustainability of society from a long-term perspective.
We will further promote corporate activities that take into consideration the sustainability of society. As business activity, we will aim to improve the convenience of people by providing information technology to a wide variety of areas, as well as contribute to the sustainability of all of our stakeholders by strengthening our efforts on health management and diversity, CSR, etc. while improving our corporate value.

(4)Contribute to customers’ business expansion by enhancing the trust relationship

We will follow changes in our customers’ business by supporting their mission; enhancing the trust relationship; and providing a wide range of services from those in the upper layers, such as solutions and consulting, to those in the operation and maintenance layer.
The base of our business is our customers’ trust we earn through information systems we provide to continue doing business for a long time. We will aim to maintain and enhance this relationship to become a partner that can further contribute to customers’ business expansion. Moreover, we will strive to enhance even more our trust relationship with our customers not only by developing systems, but also providing a wide range of services in a single place, from those in the upper layer, such as solutions and consulting, to those in the operation and maintenance layer. In addition, we will reinforce our efforts to be able to respond to changes in customers’ business as well as follow technological innovations and business shifts.

(5)Further expand the company’s prime business

With regards to our core business of system development, we will work to expand projects where we are the main contractor. Also, we will aim to expand our business areas by integrating system development with existing products and/or services to make full use of our strength. Furthermore, we will develop new products, services and/or solutions to expand our business areas.
In the CIJ group, we have worked actively to increase orders where we are the main contractor. As a result, we have managed to expand our business in the product, service and solution areas, with the migration technology growing to one of our group’s representative technology.
To further expand our prime business into the future, we will invest in new products, services, and solutions. In particular, regarding the development of in-house products, we will focus on the training of engineers and strengthening of R&D to expand relevant businesses and enhance even more our corporate value.
We will advance our existing in-house products by participating in exhibitions, strengthening promotion activities, etc. in addition to further expanding to overseas markets through our business partners.
